Street Parade - Saturday 3 November

Celebrate the legend, our City's history and our unique community spirit!

One of the highlights of the annual Festival of Fisher´s Ghost is the Street Parade. Taking place from 1pm on Saturday 3 November, the parade has come to be seen as the official opening of the festival and a fitting way to celebrate the community spirit that the event embodies

The parade showcases the legend of Fisher´s Ghost and the diversity of our local community in a vast array of creative forms, and is an energetic, lively and colourful celebration of Campbelltown City´s history and its people.

Come and cheer on local schools, sporting and community groups, organisations and businesses as they take their place in history by getting creative and putting together an entry for the parade. Contributions to the event may include floats, puppets, costumes, musical instruments and/or choreographed movement, inspired by the Festival´s themes.

This year's theme is "Love to Read", inspired by the National Year of Reading. The colour orange and Fisher's Ghost also form the list of themes.

Don´t miss it!
