Program History |
![]() |
| Over the years the Festival Program has celebrated with many themes including: The Ghost with the Most, The Spirit of Campbelltown, the International Year of the Volunteers, the Centenary of Federation and most recently, the National Year of Reading. The program has evolved over the years in response to the interests of the local community. The most popular events on the program include the Street Parade, Street Fair and of course the carnival which sees thousands of people through the gates over both weekends of this 10 day festival. The Miss Festival Quest, which ran up until the early 90s, was adapted to form The Miss Princess Quest, which has now been running for two decades. Catering to the youth of Campbelltown is Fisher's Gig. This youth music festival sees a number of local talented bands supporting a popular headline act (or two!). Other stayers on the program include the prestigious Fisher´s Ghost Art Award, the Annual Fisher´s Ghost Fun Run, Fisher's Kids and a diverse range of associated events. |
